Downtown Truckee Ladies Night
November 14, 2025 from 5pm-8pm
Cabona’s stays open late—until 8 PM—map out your shopping route downtown with your friends and family for November 14th, and join us for holiday shopping with a cause!
Come downtown for a festive evening of sips and merriment, and save our mountains with MAP! Downtown Merchants including Cabona’s are all offering 20% off storewide with proceeds supporting MAP.
This year’s theme is “Derby Style.” Picture bold outfits, big hats, and a festive Derby vibe. Join in on the fun and bring the Derby downtown for Ladies Night! The event encourages shopping at downtown Truckee merchants to kick off the holiday shopping season and supports the local nonprofit, Mountain Area Preservation (MAP).
Participating merchants, like us, will stay open late on Friday, November 14th, and offer discounts, complimentary beverages, and a raffle to support MAP’s advocacy for protecting open space and preserving the unique mountain character of the Truckee Tahoe area. Raffle tickets will be sold at each store, and prizes will include MAP’s limited edition Protect Our Mountains Hoodies and merchant gift cards.
Festive Fridays
December 5, 12, and 19, 2025 from 5pm-8pm
Mark your calendars for three evenings of winter magic under the twinkle of downtown lights. Festive Fridays bring together local flair and holiday cheer with Sip‑n‑Shop strolls, a Snowflake Scavenger Hunt for all ages, roaming carolers, surprise visits from Santa, and a selfie station decked out for capturing that seasonal sparkle. It’s the perfect blend of Truckee’s heart, community spirit, and festive glow—made even sweeter when shared with friends and family.
Truckee Art Walk — First Saturday Every Month
Join us downtown on the first Saturday of each month from 4 to 7 PM for the Truckee Art Walk. Explore local galleries, enjoy live music, and stop by Cabona’s to discover new styles and special offers while soaking in the vibrant community spirit.
